Between 2021 and 2022, Youth Lab partnered with Covid Comms - a network of communications volunteers working alongside government and civil society organisations to produce and distribute accurate and helpful information on the Covid-19 outbreak in South Africa - to create and manage the implementation of community workshops to increase public education on the Covid-19 vaccine, and to encourage more young people to get vaccinated. Youth Lab’s extensive network of community activists and facilitators enabled the programme to reach over 7000 people, with approximately 600 community workshops conducted.
